Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 8, 2026  ·  Last updated: October 8, 2026

Project Esty Aesthetics Academy ("Project Esty," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit www.projectestyacademy.com, submit a form, book a service, visit our campuses, or opt in to text messages or emails from us (together, the "Site" and our "Services"), how we use and share that information, and the choices available to you. This Privacy Policy is part of our Terms & Conditions.

The short version. We collect the information you give us to answer your questions, book your appointments, and guide you through enrollment. We do not sell your personal information. We never sell or share your mobile number or text message opt-in consent with third parties for their marketing. You can opt out of texts by replying STOP and out of emails using the unsubscribe link at any time.

1. Information We Collect

We collect personal information that you choose to provide to us, information collected automatically when you use the Site, and limited information from third parties.

Information you provide

You may provide information when you request program information, schedule a tour, apply or enroll, book a clinic appointment, register for an event, make a purchase, sign up for emails, opt in to text messages, or contact us. This may include:

  • Contact information, such as your name, email address, mobile or other phone number, and mailing address.
  • Admissions and enrollment information, such as your date of birth, program and campus interest, preferred start date, educational background, proof of education or identity, emergency contact, and financing or payment-plan details.
  • Clinic client information, such as your appointment preferences, skin concerns, and the health details you share on our intake and consultation forms (for example, medications, allergies, skin conditions, pregnancy, and recent procedures).
  • Payment information, such as your billing address and payment card details, which are collected and processed directly by our third-party payment providers. We do not store your full card number.
  • Mobile opt-in information, such as your mobile number and the date, time, and method of your consent to receive text messages.
  • Content you share, such as messages, reviews, survey responses, photos, and other content you send to us or post about us.

Information from third parties

We may receive information about you from booking, financing, and payment providers that help us deliver our Services, from social media platforms when you interact with our pages or ads, and from review sites. We use this information as described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Cookies & Automated Collection

When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect certain technical information, such as your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring web page, pages you view, links you click, and the date and time of your visit.

We collect this information using technologies such as:

  • Cookies — small text files stored in your browser that help the Site remember your preferences and keep forms and booking tools working.
  • Pixels and tags — small pieces of code on our pages and emails that tell us whether a page was visited or an email was opened.
  • Analytics and advertising tools — third-party services, such as Google Analytics and social media advertising pixels, that help us understand how visitors use the Site and measure and improve our advertising. These providers may collect information about your activity on the Site and other websites over time.

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. If you do, some parts of the Site, such as online booking, may not work properly. You can learn about Google Analytics' opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout and about interest-based advertising choices at optout.aboutads.info. Because there is no common industry standard for "Do Not Track" browser signals, the Site does not currently respond to them.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • respond to your inquiries and send you the program information you request;
  • schedule and confirm tours, admissions meetings, clinic appointments, and events, and send reminders;
  • process applications, enrollment, tuition and payment plans, and financing;
  • provide safe, appropriate clinic services and keep records of the services you receive;
  • process payments, purchases, refunds, and deposits;
  • send you text messages and emails you have agreed to receive, including updates and promotions;
  • operate, maintain, analyze, and improve the Site, our program, and our Services;
  • measure the effectiveness of our marketing and advertising;
  • prevent fraud, protect the security of the Site, and enforce our Terms & Conditions;
  • meet our obligations to state regulators, accrediting bodies, and other legal requirements; and
  • use it for any other purpose we describe to you when we collect it, or with your consent.

4. Text Messaging (SMS)

If you provide your mobile number and check the consent box on one of our forms, or otherwise opt in, we may send you text messages about your inquiry, admissions and enrollment, tours, appointments, events, and occasional promotions. Messages may be sent using automated technology.

  • Consent is not a condition of purchase or enrollment.
  • Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply, as charged by your mobile carrier.
  • Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You will receive one confirmation message and no further texts unless you opt in again.
  • Reply HELP for help, or contact us at (480) 740-1317 or [email protected].
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

No mobile information will be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. We share mobile information only with service providers that help us deliver our text messages (such as our messaging platform), and only for that purpose.

See Section 9 of our Terms & Conditions for our full text messaging terms.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share personal information only as described below:

  • Service providers. We share information with companies that perform services for us, such as website hosting, customer relationship management (CRM), online booking and scheduling, email and text messaging delivery, payment processing, tuition financing, student information systems, analytics, and advertising. These providers may use your information only to perform services for us and are expected to protect it.
  • Regulators and accrediting bodies. We share student information with the Arizona State Board of Cosmetology, accrediting agencies, and other government agencies when required for licensure, accreditation, audits, or reporting.
  • Legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information if we believe it is required by law, subpoena, or other legal process; to respond to government or law enforcement requests; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Project Esty, our students, clients, or others, including to prevent fraud.
  • Business transfers. If Project Esty is involved in a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or similar transaction, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will ask the new owner to honor this Privacy Policy.
  • With your consent. We may share information for other purposes when you ask us to or agree to it, such as sharing your references or completion records with a prospective employer.

We may also share information that has been aggregated or de-identified so that it can no longer reasonably identify you, such as graduation and licensure statistics.

6. Student Records

Once you enroll, your education records — such as attendance, grades, practical and theory hours, and financial account records — are maintained according to our School Catalog, our Enrollment Agreement, applicable Arizona State Board of Cosmetology rules, and, where applicable, the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). Those documents describe your rights to inspect your records and request corrections and the limited situations in which records may be released without your written consent. If anything in this Privacy Policy conflicts with those documents on a student-records matter, those documents control.

7. Clinic Client Information

Health and skin information you share on our intake and consultation forms is used to determine whether a service is appropriate for you, to perform services safely, and to keep accurate service records. Access is limited to our instructors, the students performing your service under supervision, and staff who need it. We do not use your health information for advertising, and we do not share it except as needed to provide your service, with your consent, or as required by law.

Our Student Clinics are educational settings. Students may discuss your service with their instructors and classmates for training purposes without sharing your name or other identifying details outside the classroom. We will ask for your separate written consent before taking or using identifiable photos or videos of you, and you may withdraw that consent at any time.

8. Your Choices & Opting Out

  • Text messages. Reply STOP to any text message, or contact us using the information below.
  • Email. Click the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or contact us. We may still send you transactional messages about your appointments, enrollment, or purchases.
  • Phone and mail. Ask us to stop calling or mailing you by contacting us using the information below.
  • Cookies and advertising. Adjust your browser settings or use the opt-out tools described in Section 2.

Please allow up to 10 business days for email, phone, and mail requests to take effect.

9. Your Privacy Rights

Subject to applicable law and our record-keeping obligations, you may ask us to:

  • tell you what personal information we have about you and provide a copy;
  • correct or update inaccurate information;
  • delete your personal information; or
  • withdraw consent you previously gave us.

To make a request, email [email protected] or call (480) 740-1317. We may need to verify your identity before responding. Some information, such as student records and financial records, must be kept for a period of time under state rules, accreditation standards, or tax laws, so we may not be able to delete it right away. If we cannot fully complete your request, we will explain why. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

10. How We Protect Information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access or disclosure, including encrypted connections on our forms and payment pages and limiting access to the staff who need it. No website, system, or method of transmission is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we learn of a security breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by Arizona law.

11. Data Retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, such as responding to your inquiry, providing Services, and maintaining your relationship with us, and for as long as required by law. Student education and financial records are retained for the periods required by the Arizona State Board of Cosmetology, accrediting agencies, and other applicable regulations. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it.

12. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us. Visitors under 18 should only submit information or book services with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.

The Site may link to or include third-party services, such as online booking, payment and financing providers, maps, product brands, and social media platforms. Those services operate independently and have their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of websites and services we do not own or control.

14. Where We Process Information

Project Esty is located in Arizona, and the Site is intended for people in the United States. Your information is stored and processed in the United States, where our service providers may also store it. If you visit from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

15. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or the law. When we do, we will post the updated policy on this page and change the "Last updated" date above. If we make material changes to how we use or share your personal information, we will provide notice on the Site or contact you directly before the change takes effect. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

16. Accessibility

We want this Privacy Policy to be available to everyone. If you have trouble reading it or need it in another format, please call us at (480) 740-1317 during business hours (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–2:00 PM Arizona time) or email [email protected], and we will help you get the information you need.
